First Zwift Race of 2024! - LIVE - EVO CC Race Series - Coast Crusher - Cat C

This is my first Zwift race covering of pneumonia and also my first race of 2024. After some fitness loss from my 2023 peak, I've been dropped down to C Cat - let's see where I stand in C! I haven't really pushed the legs to the max yet, so I'm going to be careful and slowly work my way back to fitness. Join in the race or in the stream for some fun!

Great to see you back racing and a brilliant podium. Just on the run into the finish, if you try to stay at the back of the group rather than 2nd wheel you’ll get more draft and need less watts for those few seconds before you launch plus you can see who moves first and get their draft to the line. When the margins are small all the little things help 👍

Good to know - I’ll work on that in the future. I was a bit surprised to be that close to the front, honestly. The fitness took a hit, but maybe I can do some learning in C for a while. Thanks for the support and advice!

Thanks! To chat with the viewers of the stream - I was reading the live KZbin chat. I use OBS to combine Zwift, webcam, & mic. It also shows the chat. To talk to other riders in Zwift, I use the Zwift companion app on my phone.
