I'm sorry but did I not hear Pastor Gino Jennings say that when a believer dies that they don't go to heaven but simply goes to the grave? I am surprised that a preacher of his stature could be so confused on such an elementary doctrine. The Apostle Paul said "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." II Corinthians 5:8 The Apostle Paul also use this same doctrine to comfort those that have lost love ones. That though they are in heaven now yet in the coming of the Lord they will come with Him and their bodies will be the first to be resurrected during what we call the rapture. (See I Thessalonians 4:13-18; I Corinthians 15:51-53) The Bible clearly teaches that man is a triune being, he has a spirit, soul and body. (See I Thessalonians 5:23) When a believers dies, his body returns back to the earth from whence it came. (See Genesis 3:19; Ecclesiastes 12:7) His spirit returns back to God who gave it. (See Ecclesiastes 12:7) His soul goes to heaven and waits for the resurrection of the body. (See Revelations 6:9-11) The death of our Lord Jesus Christ gives us a clear picture of this very thing. When the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary He commended His spirit of God. (See Luke 23:46) His body was laid in the tomb or grave. (See Luke 23:50-56) His soul went to paradise not the grave. (See Luke 23:43) One thing for sure the soul of the wicked and that of the righteous are sleeping in the graves but are either in hell or paradise. (See Luke 16:19-31)

At my high school graduation many years ago I was attributed the prize for being the most outstanding student of religious education following the study of the life and teaching of Christ. Sunday school was never optional for me, it was mandatory. I was an ardent Sunday school student, getting the prize over and over for best attendance. I grew up in church and even now as an adult I recall the many Friday afternoon Bible classes, but now listening to you teach I've never heard it this way. This is a rennosaunce in my life. B4 you judge, read Genesis 22:14. Abraham was a fore-father to the Israelites B4 Moses was born... Question? How could Abraham name the location "Jehovah-Jireh" [meaning, "Jehovah Will Provide"] without knowing the divine name??? ..Also read Genesis 4:1 in the "Divine Name King James Bible [DNKJB] Eve thanks Jehovah [not "the LORD," which is simply a title replacing Divine Name] for conceiving Cain... The first time I saw Gino Jennings on TV, I was blown away. He was preaching what I had learned in church down through the years. It was also what I believed in. That was about October or November 2018. I got to meet him when he came to my hometown of Milwaukee in August 2019. I told my church, and other people about him. I'm sorry but did I not hear Pastor Gino Jennings say that when a believer dies that they don't go to heaven but simply goes to the grave? I am surprised that a preacher of his stature could be so confused on such an elementary doctrine. The Apostle Paul said "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." II Corinthians 5:8 The Apostle Paul also use this same doctrine to comfort those that have lost love ones. That though they are in heaven now yet in the coming of the Lord they will come with Him and their bodies will be the first to be resurrected during what we call the rapture. (See I Thessalonians 4:13-18; I Corinthians 15:51-53) The Bible clearly teaches that man is a triune being, he has a spirit, soul and body. (See I Thessalonians 5:23) When a believers dies, his body returns back to the earth from whence it came. (See Genesis 3:19; Ecclesiastes 12:7) His spirit returns back to God who gave it. (See Ecclesiastes 12:7) His soul goes to heaven and waits for the resurrection of the body. (See Revelations 6:9-11) The death of our Lord Jesus Christ gives us a clear picture of this very thing. When the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary He commended His spirit of God. (See Luke 23:46) His body was laid in the tomb or grave. This transformation hasn't happen yet this is where you're in error. You're trying to people in heaven and hell and you haven't rightly divided Scriptures correctly! Line upon line precept upon precept here a little there a little. I do believe all the Scriptures and The Apostle Jennings teachings does not contradict or violates any of what the Holy Prophet's Jesus or the Holy Apostle's has said or has written here in Scriptures. Because it is for our Learning Romans 15:4. Again 1 Cor 15:50-57 Shows us all our Transformation that is to come when we all will be changed. 1 John 3:1-3 you don't know this Jesus you talk about Repent Acts 2:38 and if whatever you believe contradicts Scriptures you must push a side what you believe and draw closer to Jesus Christ. I am 67 years , praise God. I was under a Pastor Pastor Schmidt and later Pastor McDermott and occasionally Pastor Robin, Charles Stanley, John Mcarthur, Voodie Buakum and Kendrick Murray they are in my opinion truly anointed God fearing men that teachers and preaches the word of God. I have read the bible throw a couple of times from Genesis to Revelations and l have never seen, understood and taught the knowledge of the truth of Gods word like Pastor Gino Jennings. He is a powerful man of God and teach the word like no other l have heard in my life. Not afraid to tell you that your sinners. God gifted this man.

Pastor Gino is using his eloquence to preach falsehood! Beware of the likes of Pastor Gino. He is trying to show us that he knows God more than the apostles who wrote the scriptures under inspiration. He also seems to know God more than God knows himself! The apostle Paul, in 1Corinthians 8: 4-6 said “As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one. 5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) 6 But to us THERE IS BUT ONE GOD, THE FATHER, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.” (Notice how he distinguishes the Father from the son. Apostle Paul identified only the FATHER as God). Compare what the apostle said to what Jesus said at Mark 12: 29: “And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:” Jesus was obviously quoting from the book of Deuteronomy 6:4: “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:” (Note the use of the uppercase LORD). Can the only true God himself have a God? Hebrews 1: 9, with respect to the Son, says: “Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore GOD, EVEN THY GOD, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.” Note that, that is the Son in heaven, not the man Jesus on earth. Does it not make sense then, the words of Jesus on the crucifix: “And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, MY GOD, MY GOD, why hast thou forsaken me?(Matthew 27: 46) This shows that the Father has always been God to the Son, before the founding of the world, yes before the Son came to the world as the man Jesus. Is it then surprising that Jesus said “ Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for MY FATHER IS GREATER THAN I.”(John 14: 28). Psalms110: 1 says “The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.” Note the use of upper case (capital) letters for the first LORD and lower case for the second Lord. That shows the first LORD is a greater one and the other is a lesser Lord. Who is this lesser Lord? It is Jesus, the Mighty God of Isaiah 9: 6 that pastor Gino erroneously calls the Almighty God. Hebrews 1: 13 identifies the Son of God as the lesser Lord thus: “But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?” (Read the entire chapter 1 for more clarity). Hebrews 10: 12, 13 further identified Jesus as the lesser Lord thus: “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.” If he is sitting on the right hand of God, can he be God? For answers about how Jesus is Mighty but not the Almighty God, let Gino take off his cloak of arrogance and seek knowledge.

I'm sorry but did I not hear Pastor Gino Jennings say that when a believer dies that they don't go to heaven but simply goes to the grave? I am surprised that a preacher of his stature could be so confused on such an elementary doctrine. The Apostle Paul said "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord." II Corinthians 5:8 The Apostle Paul also use this same doctrine to comfort those that have lost love ones. That though they are in heaven now yet in the coming of the Lord they will come with Him and their bodies will be the first to be resurrected during what we call the rapture. (See I Thessalonians 4:13-18; I Corinthians 15:51-53) The Bible clearly teaches that man is a triune being, he has a spirit, soul and body. (See I Thessalonians 5:23) When a believers dies, his body returns back to the earth from whence it came. (See Genesis 3:19; Ecclesiastes 12:7) His spirit returns back to God who gave it. (See Ecclesiastes 12:7) His soul goes to heaven and waits for the resurrection of the body. (See Revelations 6:9-11) The death of our Lord Jesus Christ gives us a clear picture of this very thing. When the Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary He commended His spirit of God. (See Luke 23:46) His body was laid in the tomb or grave. (See Luke 23:50-56) His soul went to paradise not the grave. (See Luke 23:43) One thing for sure the soul of the wicked and that of the righteous are sleeping in the graves but are either in hell or paradise. (See Luke 16:19-31)

This is wonderful, it shows the importance of studying the Holy Scriptures, to have a very, very strong and intimate knowledge of the Most High God, he ( brother Jennings )tied it all together.
