For what it’s worth, The fact that her bio parents left her on a doorstep to me means that they were really scared and loved her enough to not harm her.

As someone who grew up with 2 abusive birth parents, she may have missed out on years of dysfunction and trauma. Though I understand her need to know where she came from, she is very blessed to have loving adoptive parents. Sometimes, what we see as a bad thing can actually be a blessing in disguise. Wish her well!

I know she found her birth contributors, but her parents are the ones who raised her with love. The title parent is earned through years of love and great sacrifice 🌹

One of the saddest things about this is not knowing your medical history. People don't realize how important that is.

The way the Mother spoke about her Daughter brought tears to my eyes. She loves her so much I'm convinced this young Lady ended up exactly with whom she was supposed to be.

You can share the same blood but your family are the people who raise you.

I grew up without my father and after learning about some of the horrible things he did to my half-sisters I thanked my lucky stars for not having him in my life. Sometimes less is more.🦋

I grew up in foster care from age 13 up to college. My story had a happy ending. My mom got herself better and I found my dad in my 30's. I held on to hope for my family to be restored and it happened 🙏 If you have a void in your heart from childhood I pray for your strength and encouragement to keep moving and live your life with purpose.

I found my father in 2008 when I was 56 years old and he was 75. He died in 2013. It meant everything to me to get to know him and develop a relationship with him. We had almost five years before his passing in 2013. I actually wrote a book about growing up without him and the path to finding him.

I'm glad she found them. I had two miscarriages in my 30's. My husband and I eventually divorced. Now heading into my 70's single and childless, I cry not having had a chance to meet my children. I wish the very best to this young woman and her son.
