From a coach to coach, thank you for this. Youre in the trenches so long, you forget the basics.

Hey coach what do you do if you’re running a dig route and the db is slightly behind you,and he’s too far back to throw by but if you just cut you’ll run into him?

Hey coach, I know this is not very related to the video, but I wanted to ask you about this. As a rising freshman who is on the skinny side, do you think you could give any tips on how to really get the strongest I possibly can for this coming up season?
@firstdowntrainingКүн бұрын
Yeah absolutely! If you search up “first down training how to gain weight” on KZbin we have some weight gain tips and strength tips there

Dang, your videos are so amazing. I'm not American, but your videos inspire me to try out playing football myself. Great stuff, coach. 😁

I watched some of your "hiw ti catch deep passes" shorts, and I hear you say to keep your chest behind it and dip your shoulder. Can you please explain to me what you mean by dipping your shoulders?🙏
@firstdowntrainingКүн бұрын
Yeah like if you’re running a fade and let’s say you’re on the right side of the field- if the QB fades you and puts the ball over your outside shoulder aka your right shoulder- you don’t want to let the ball cross your face- you want to keep your chest even with the ball. So you lean your right shoulder down towards the ground which moves your body out and the ball won’t cross your face this way. Hope this made sense!
