Raag Vridavanni Sarang which is sung here is the basic Raag of different types Sarang raags. Sarangs in general are though to evoke a Playful, Romantic, Happy and an appreciative mood. So if one has felt good or happy listening to this performance, it could be said you have rightly taken that first step in connecting to this raaga.

@@me.unpredictable280 yes it's vrundavani sarang and is performed at around 12 noon. Also in this raga ga and dhaiwat r absent and both the nishad r used. Hence the notation that you have referred to may be pertaining to some other raga or atleast I tried my best to recognise the song by doing various permutation and combination but couldn't recognise it.
