Apoorva Gokhale's second piece of her recital at the FEA-curated CROSSROADS festival in Chennai was in Raag Chhaya Nat, a popular but traditional raag from the Gwalior gharana. It comprised a traditional bandish in taal jhoomra followed by a composition by her great-grandfather Pt. Anant Manohar Joshi.
Apoorva was accompanied by Bharat Kamat on tabla and Chaitanya Kunte on harmonium. Vocal support was provided by Apoorva's disciple Amritha Shenoy-Kamath who also played the tanpura along with Kalyani Vishwanathan.
