Archspire just needs a better vocalist. I know this isn't popular opinion but their vocalist has held the master musicians back so damn much. Imagine if they had vocals like spawn of possessions or better yet, old school psychroptic.

I've watched and listened to this a million times, but this is the first time that I noticed the little harmonic note snuck in at the end of Forest's solo (3:29) and it's little details like this that show how amazing of song writers the fellas at First Fragment are. It's not just technical wankery for the sake of it, it's very well written, very musical technical wankery. I love it, this album is so good.
