johnny's just biased towards EU players in general
@samsinite1006 күн бұрын
@ maybe, he has streamed more EU players (probably more ME players over the last 3-4 years too), but he has definitely never given Squishy the credit he deserved during his 3s dominance. They both had a few disagreements with JBoi using Squishy’s videos to analyze RL play, which IMO could have been handled more appropriately on both sides. I imagine reaching out to squishy in advance and encouraging viewers to go over to Squishy’s Twitch and KZbin (with links in the description) would have been enough to please Squishy. And Squishy should have also recognized that JBoi’s video probably fell under free use, and not complain about it on stream. It is just old silly beef from young adults not quite mature enough to fully make good adult decisions yet (pretty typical at that age, myself included).

Imo squishy was definitely the best on his team in season 6, the only reason gimmick was able to score a the rate he did was due to Squishy. I think he was probably best in the world season 5-6, that team had the best lan records seasons 4-6, but Jboi has had beef with squishy so not surprised he disagreed.
@superdog32936 күн бұрын
I'd have to agree. Torment got MVP at the LAN for good reason, but Squishy was definitely all around the best on the team considering torment and gimmick had relative weaknesses at either end of the field.
@samsinite1006 күн бұрын
@ I agree, and it might be a hot take, but I think Torment was also the second best player on that c9 team. Gimmick would overcommit and play on zero boost far too often.

What did Zen do last season to make him #1 in the world over beastmode?

Zen Is unique, what he achieve on his first year competing, makes him unmatchable.

@@enksxo_ Ever heard of a player called monkeymoon? The dude has 3 RLCS titles, no one in the world has an argument for being better than him. The only reason to play the 8 month season is to win RLCS. It’s like Tom Brady in football, he won 7 super bowls, regardless of who is the most athletic or smartest player, Brady is the GOAT. MJ in basketball, Woods in golf, Williams in Tennis, the best/ greatest player conversation only goes as far as championships.

@@drugsrbad475 midmoon carried by dralli and exotik. Bmode still better and more consistent as a player compared to midmoon. Im not talking about winning rlcs

Zen is the most obvious best in the world we’ve had. Even meta shifting players like JSTN weren’t dominating so much in 1s like zen was. Zen burned bright and fast but I think he shined the brightest at his peak than any other player
@Puggymunch5 күн бұрын
You're right, but you say it like zen is already washed. Its been over a year now and zen is still widely regarded to be the best player in the world between either him or monkey m00n.
@neil_surya5 күн бұрын
I get where you’re coming from but Zen was only dominant because he didn’t play RW9 yet. He lost his first and second matches against RW9 the moment they played which meant that in the form he was in when he was beating others, he was consistently unable to beat RW9. RW9 at the time was not unanimously number 1 at the time either imho but the fact that he was consistent against Zen during that time meant that Zen’s streak, while impressive, is not evidence of him being the best at that time. And since then Zen’s taken losses to others so he was definitely not undisputed number 1 in 1s. When he entered 3s tho in RLCS I definitely think he was number 1 in 3s.

Brain dead is only applicable against a player like fk but otherwise I would disagree since evoh has gotten number 1 globally in ranked using his heavy offence playstyle
