Safe Blessing: May you be surrounded by a shield of protection, guarded by the watchful eyes of the universe. May your path be free from danger and misfortune, guided by intuition and clear-sightedness. May your journey be filled with unexpected delights, and moments of profound peace. May you return home every night to the warmth of loved ones, and wake each morning with renewed hope and courage. May your life be a tapestry woven with threads of safety, and may your heart always know the comfort of knowing you are loved and protected. So it is, and so it shall be.

I recently cut my hair for the first time in just over three years. I was holding on to alot of grief that had been eating at me. My mom sent me this to encourage me to smudge to help the healing and I gotta say, this was very helpful. Thank you 😊

We cut our hair when we one of our close loved one walks on… it is said to help with the pain of grieving and also to let others know that you’re in mourning. I’m Lakota btw.

I'm Hindu, and we have something similar. As part of Yajna (sacrifice), we can light sage or Paolo Santo etc, sweep it towards the Lingham offering it to God, and then eventually sweep it towards ourself, to consummate the offering and remember the bond we share with God.

I actually felt the Humble giving message in this upload, and will now follow these ways to smudge. Sadly my Shaman Dave Redman White Buffalo calf woman, passed away recently a loss felt deeply by our Spirit family. He was Part Navajo, and fully trained in America the old ways. He completely changed my family, and planted our feet fully upon a new path of Giving love and light, I still hold dear the 1st book he gave me to read, called The Four Agreements.🙏🏼 Gitche Manitou Bless his ascention and accept his Soul with the light and Love that he always gave other's. Love & Light Steve White horse. ❤☀️🐎

I am using this quarantine time to learn about our Anishinaabe culture that was taken from my family in the boarding schools. I wanted to share my excitement with you: after a few months of self-taught Ojibwemowin, I actually understood most of what you said. Very calming and healing. I sometimes take a charcol outside and light it till its red and white on the outside so there is no smell. Then i put the herbs/ medicine on there a little at a time or alot to really cleanse and then open the windows and let it all the stuck energy go out with the smoke. Its also good for resins as its the only way to keep them burning. I use a clay vissle with an area for the burnt medicine to fall into. I keep the burned medicine and collect it so i can make black salt for protection. I however love the way you smudged your sacred parts of your body. I had forgotten about that. Its so good to share and be reminded. Thank you and may the gods bless you.❤❤❤

I thank you for sharing, in such a loving spirit, your instruction on how you do what I will be doing for the first time in my 62 years of life. I actually did ask my lovely sage plant as I picked some but will go out and thank it and tell of my intentions before I begin. I do not have an Eagle feather or a bowl like yours so will have to improvise, yet I got from this sweet soul that it's the prayers & intentions that matter most.

Thank you for this beautiful video. I love to smudge with the sage. I have eagle, owl and swan feathers that were gifted to me by the birds. I love and honour them and their spirit energies. I have a native indian spirit guide who appeared when I was 10 years old after an accident. He has always appeared at times of difficulty to help guide me. I am so blessed and grateful to know a few things to help with cleansing, protection and connection with our Source Light. ❤
