Oh My God! what a beautiful hymn. Nice tune. I feel the groove of the singing in the chapel and I am so moved. "Pray that I may have the grace to let you be my ser - vant too"

This hymn is a heavy hitter. Much like Amazing Grace. As always, a beautiful rendition by First Plymouth Church. To God Be The Glory.

Arguably one of the greatest hymns ever composed. Our God does not save us without permission, thus showing true love is free, reciprocal, and humble.

rom 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. God loved us when we still hated him and were living in rebellion and sin

Beautiful! I love the text painting towards the end. Are you able to share which setting of this hymn was used? Thank you!

Pianist flubbed at 2:30
@reedcarter9544 жыл бұрын
1) it’s an organ and an organist, not a pianist. 2) he didn’t flub, but even if he had, it’s an unnecessary and inappropriate comment on a video of such a beautiful hymn talking about compassion and caring. 🙄

It wasn't a crisp transition.

Isaac, just like you flubbed calling an organist a pianist, and btw Isaac that's not a flub it's the note that the organist played beautifully but to you a tone-deaf, it's a flub....good job Mr. Organist that was a fantastic job you did on that organ.
@gabe22653 жыл бұрын
You know what, @Isaac F.? You’re denigrating the beautiful Catholic faith by making incendiary comments like that. I really think you should learn something from the example of St. Francis and refrain from posting things like that in the future.
@gabe22653 жыл бұрын
In fact, I’d say that St. Francis is probably the perfect example of moral behavior on the internet. Think about it, that man never posted a single rude comment on KZbin during his lifetime. Not once.

I can't believe people still sing this way. I guess some traditions die hard.

I’m not really sure what this comment means. Hymn singing? Yes, it’s quite popular, actually.
@elderrobertv.fullersr.17394 жыл бұрын
@@reedcarter954 thank you. I grew up on hymn singing. It's sad that many churches have gotten away from it. I love them.

A lot of churches are into loud Christian heavy metal. I don't like it at all. The older hymns, like this one, are so beautiful.
