This terrific performance is wonderful on so many levels. Ideal tempi, phrasing, and the balance between choir and Tom's magnificent organ accompaniment is just great. What a treat to hear! We'll do this anthem tomorrow ( Holy Cross Sunday in the Lutheran lectionary), albeit with a somewhat smaller choir. I’m usually a huge fan of what’s posted on this channel, but this is painfully slow! It should take less than five minutes at proper tempo, and this got strung out for over six. Ouch.
