If India says that China is not doing good, I just can't imagine how horrific it must be in India. This is like an F - grade student telling an A+ student he is not doing good. - China is 60 times richer than India. (I know it's unfair that the British looted 45 trillion from India, but it is what it is). - China's economy is 6 times larger than India's. - China's yearly growth is 5 times greater than India's. - China has better living conditions and healthcare; on average, they live a whole decade more than their Indian counterpart. - China launches 20-50 times more rockets than India into space every year. - China is a lot more intelligent, with an IQ of 104 compared to India's 76. - China is more athletic and stronger than India, winning 38 times more gold medals than India in the world olympic games. - China's reserves is 7 times larger than India's reserves. - India is forced to use the Chinese currency when purchasing oil from Russia, Iran, or Venezuela. All this happened because western companies set up their factories in China since the USA wanted China in their camp against the Russians. They are now realising their mistake since China has not become democratic as hoped but has devolved into an communist dictatorship. So China will lose their economy that they used to have - western companies are all moving out.

Palki, since 2 decades, China is working hard to move to high value-add manufacturing. 2 significant examples are solar panels and car making. Chinese car making just took over Japan as world first exporter in the world. India has a long way to go in industrialization and urbanization because 2/3 of its population live in rural areas.

I bought a towel made in India and the fabric they use is terrible. Whenever i use it to wipe myself dry after a shower i don't feel like it absorbs the water right. I went in my wardrobe and used the Made in China one (which was made out of the exact same material as the Indian one) and it did a far better job. Indian manufacturing is of a very very low standard. Maybe comparable quality to early 90's Made in China products. If the world does buy Made in India then be prepared for a shocking drop in quality.

Although I am not very friendly to Indians (you can't be friendly to a country where all the people hate you), I really want to say something to Indians: you can never build a building directly from the second floor. If you have the foundation, you want to be a doctor, policeman, or professor, but you must pass the study. It seems that this is what Indians are doing now. They shout all day long that we will be number one in the world in X years. What gives you the courage to say this?

@krantikoganti every country has to have stagnated growth at some time. It's not possible to any country to have growth for ever. The reason why China has stagnated is because they have already gone through a phase of development and are facing troubles now which they have to come up with solution as it has never happened before. The same will happen to India one day or the other after the growth phase which they are at the moment. I just hope India won't lose its tradition and culture with the exponential growth.

When a toy company asks for 50K toys from China, China will deliver that 50K toys at exactly the time they promised to deliver. Everyone can make one single toy. Everyone can even make 50K toys once. But only China can deliver those 50K toys orders day in and day out, year in and year out. That is MANUFACTURING ECOSYSTEM and MANUFACTURING INFRASTRUCTURE. India is far from it. Worst yet, with AI Automation, China can deliver toys of all forms and shapes EVEN MORE effectively without much human interference. And India, well India is very good at talking and it will keep taking about overtaking China.

Just as important, China is a far bigger toy market than India. By moving production from China to India, these companies would lose access to the Chinese market because the deal China offers foreign manufacturers is access to China's domestic market in return for exports to foreign markets. That's the deal China has made with Apple, Tesla and others. So, these toy companies have to export from China in order to sell to China. They cannot export from India and sell to China nor can they sell to India anywhere near what they sell to China. So, these companies are in a real pickle if they want to move manufacturing to India because they would take a huge hit in their sales numbers which India simply cannot absorb nor adequately compensate for the foreseeable future...

. That’s what I mean when I said it’s a pure case of *MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO* for all things India does… First, when China made the nuclear boys club, the French, the Soviets Jump on the opportunity to tap into opportunity of India’s nuclear predicament… We of course did not have this luxury… Second, when the West and the Soviets pulled everything out of China over fear of *Napoleon of the sleeping dragon warning* and the Chinese were forced to build its own fighter jets, ie., the J-6, A-5, J-7, abd J-8, J-8II and JH-7, in order to boost Indian moral, india tried her hand on what was the HAL HF-24 Marut which boasted a speed of Mach 2 (J-7 J-8 standard at the time ), the Marut remain stagnant… They then went on to the Hawker Hunter to make up for lost time… When Deng Xiao Ping’s fired up China’s market reform and it showed great progress, India openly copied it to saying why can’t we follow the same reform… When we were suspected of doing the J-10 fighter, instantly they announced their LCA and their MCA program. The latter was dropped while Dasssult of France was brought in to finalise the LCA to save face… Then there was the Varyag, India followed suite here with the one dollar purchase of the admiral Knuskov… Space is next and they boasted about their mars orbiter while a conspiracy (my opinion) was arrive at between the west and Russia to see to it that we don’t succeed… How about the lunar program of both countries? They would never have fire up their own lunar program if it weren’t for the face values of it which was reflected by china’s ambitions in the field… They are even trying their hands on the indigenous CV playing field saying they are on their third CV while we are already on our forth, fifth (nuclear), and a sixth CV (thus one fujian class) and… When we say we’re into thorium, instantly they announced they are in it too… If only all of this was in aims to catch up with and beat numero uno and numero dos like we are doing but this is not the case. They are in it cuz we are hence… *”MONKEY SEE MONKEY DO”* for them! I will kowtow to them and give them credit for what they are attempting to accomplish!!! .

Now you might say wait Hellbot Mexico is totally industrializing why can't India? Yes, but Mexico has no less than 6 oil pipeline coming into from the Mexico from the US, and another 3 under construction. Availability for cheap oil is one of the limiting factors for India.

Where did you pull out the data from? Your ass? 😂 In 1990, the GDP of China was $400 billion and the GDP of India was $340 billion. But you must remember that globalisation started in China in 1978 which took around 12 years to take real shape and impact the economy's growth. Also, since they were an early mover they took over the manufacturing and that helped them to achieve the miraculous growth that world talks about nowadays. But glocalisation in India started in 1990 and started showing the real effect in the early 2000s.

(For everyone's knowledge, I want to say that in 1990, the GDP of China was $400 billion and the GDP of India was $340 billion.) But they need to understand that China is an autocracy and can implement things much faster than democratic countries. And this thing has its own pros and cons. Also, you must remember that globalisation started in China in 1978 which took around 12 years to take real shape and impact the economy's growth which kinda started in 1990. But glocalisation in India started in 1990 and started showing a real effect in the early 2000s. Btw, it did good. And now we can see things are taking shape and many things are changing at a rapid pace. Honestly, I hope that the whole world grows and we can really see a global village that cares for this earth and its people. @plusultra7258
@plusultra7258 7 ай бұрын
Under toys, robotics comes as well fyi. India is already the third country in the world to manufacture cars. It will surpass China soon. Not this decade, but surely in this generation. India is making hypersonic missile as well and will be completed by this year. Artificial sun needs lots of electric power which is impossible for even lithium and solar panels to produce as well. Only if you have every sand particle of moon, maybe then it can sustain upto only a year or two at best. So that is not feasible. Quantum technology comes from Quantum computing and quantum physics where India has knowledge on that and working as well. India will take at least 20 years to have a good semiconductor eco system. Lithography machines are only made in ASML. No country makes that other than Netherlands. India has a huge contribution in space as well let me remind you. India will send space station to space by 2035. It is not that low as you all think.

I live currently in NL and its is the second largest exporter of agricultural products, so by your reasoning the economy is despite this stagnant and run by 'poor' people. While the GDP and Capita per person is one of the highest in the world. The export of agricultural industry products is the way agricultural sector is set up and how much you can export or produce. It's not perfect here with all the light pollution and energy consumption, but that's mainly for produce that grow in warmer climates i.e. India. If India would invest more in this rather than those stupid toys than we can feed enough people and use the export for strategic Int' contracts.
