I am Kenyan and our problem is partly aggravated by reckless borrowing from previous regimes and largely due to extravagance by government officials- the political class; all these reaching peak with the ascension of Ruto's regime. For example, many offices that are either unconstitutional or unnecessary:- Office of the First Lady, Office of the Second Lady, Office of PM's wife; any CSs than is constitutionally allowed, huge salaries to MPs, governors, MCAs, currently now for the first time since Kenya's independence an office of the First Daughter has been created. What is the results of all this? A lot of public funds from tax payers is used to fund unconstitutional offices which are only tunnels to pump money into and waiting them on the end end of it. So the president can now afford a KSh. 200, 000, 000 trip to the US; First Ladies can pay KSh. 5, 000, 000 tithes to the church every Sunday; so what do you expect in a government of looters?

This was on Tuesday 25 afternoon after the Bill was passed. No (KDF) army here, those were cruel Regular Police officers and their counterparts APs (Administration Police) in full riot gears and the red ballet GSU (General Service Unit) a SPECIAL POLICE paramilitary FORCE to combat violence{ which all }are sections in the Kenya Police Services and NOT the army KDF (KENYA DEFENSE FORCES). KDF wear brown boots, are disciplined, focused and don't carry clubs and batons either. They carry specialized guns only . Again they entered Nairobi City on Thursday and up to now Friday none has fired a shot to the civilians. Their presence is scary to the civilians bearing in mind how ruthlessly destroyed ALSHABAAB terrorists both in Kenya and deep in the Somalia territory. Also destroyed all uprising gangs in Western Kenya and cattle rustlers in Northern Kenya. Infact the GEN Z the youthful protestors welcomed them at Moi Avenue and KDF didn't last more than 3 hrs. in the city before they returned back to their Command Base at Nyayo Stadium and eventually to their residential barracks in the outskirts of Nairobi Central Business District. Learn to be accurate journalists.
