US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said on Tuesday (October 15, 2024) that the Biden administration wants to see India cooperate with Canada in its investigation. This comes as diplomatic ties between India and Canada continue to deteriorate. In the latest move to counter Canada’s repeated provocations, India has recalled six of its diplomats from Canada and expelled six Canadian diplomats posted in India. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a statement on Monday night, exacerbating the situation by accusing the Indian diplomats of engaging in "criminal activities."
