I am from Arunachal Pradesh and my home is just on the bank of River Siang which becomes Brahmaputra in Assam. Weaponising this river may pose a big threat to us in so many ways. Most of the habitation in the state is along this river. I think they(China) have understood the concept of Hydro- Hegemony and Upstream manipulation very well. Nevertheless, there is always a solution to every problem.

I am a Tibetan, our ancestors fought China many times, we pushed them back. For peaceful treaty, Inscription carved on stone in 8th century still visible in Lhasa. In 1959, China fully occupied my country Tibet by force, world remained silent. India our biggest neighbor ignored the importance of having Tibet as buffer state, which was Nehru's blunder made. Now the harmfulness of having this new neighbor even grow from bad to worse. Building of biggest dam will be used like all time handy weapon against India, what a blunder made and India still keep on saying Tibet is a part of China, while the China claims Arunachal Pradesh part of China. In U. S. A. Government passed a bill of resolution on Tibet, making it a law to be followed. Saying issue of Tibet is not resolved. Now, what would be the stance of India on the issue of Tibet? Still remain silent or do something?
