I honestly feel she is over-rated. I dont hate her as a person. She probably is a good mother, a good daughter, a good neighbor, a good co-worker, or a good friend.............but to me surely not a good news presenter. Her voice is clear but hert tone is monotonous. All news reporters read but its not obvious, but with Palki its too evident that she is reading. She doesnt smile when she starts and doesnt seem to have a sense of humour.

Russia wants (needs) full scale expansion into the continental shelf, where there lies a lot of vast Oil/Gas Reserves, Food resources, and a favorable Trade routes , strategic waterways (now that the ice is melting more up there.) These kinds of resources will shift the balance of Power in Russia's favor for Decades. The Goal is Russia wants control over nearly 70% of the Artic Ocean. Over 100 Billion Barrels of Oil and over 2,000 trillion cubic feet of natural gas remains untapped under the Artic Ocean. The Revenue would exceed on these resources, well over 10 Trillion dollars, easily. Russia needs the Wealth of the Artic to sustain it's economic stability & empire. IF and When USA has control over Greenland, those resource options will be more difficult for Russia to obtain.

LA is not the second American city anymore, it is the FIRST when you consider that it's the heartbeat of the most important state of the Union. NY is great but outside of NYC there is nothing greater about NY state. LAX is the most important city because of its position in the entire California ecosystem, from Santa Barbara to Tijuana, the entire Southern California. The ports of LA and Long Beach are the exit and entry points to China, the world's second largest economy.

U.S. is a great county and what i can't fathom is that they are eager to fight ( war ) with other countries but not interested to send their army to help the firefighters to FIGHT THE FIRE !!! Mobilizing the National Guard is insufficient. All hands need to on DECK !!! The soldiers will be able to assist with heavy machinery used to create a barrel to prevent the fire from spreading towards residential areas . The U.S. leaders are more interested in playing the blame game!!!!

I think LA and some other cities in California should move away from wooden houses and adopt reinforced concrete. This way insurers will also be more comfortable as these structures if built properly are also earthquake resistant

These wild fires are regular phenomenon in California! I sincerely wonder why do they make house of predominantly of wood logs and wood panels. They add these wild fires! Shifting to fire retardant materials like Brick, concrete, cement and steel will go a long way to arrest such fires from spreading! Unfortunately, it may take many more wild fires to press home the point.
