What stuns me the most is how the official news agencies lessen real military casualties about 10 times at least. So was in Iraq, so was in Syria, so is in Ukraine. German farmers strive because 50 years of neoliberal policy and globalization by mainly conservative governements. They gradually decided subsidies for the food production industry isnt sensible and reduced them. Current war times or govt have nearly nothing to do wih that. It just doesnt work producing base foods like grains in germany, when ukraine and poland can do so much cheaper without being artificially kept alive by their fellow tax payers. The current protests? Folks who demand to continue to have fuel much cheaper than anybody else around them, and for everybody to pay for that privilege. High-revenue crops still work, btw. There are german farmers who managed to change with the times and profit by going into medicine plants or other specialty crops.

The photo at the end of the segment on bunkers is from the army chemical weapons storage depot in Umitillia Oregon (may have spelled it wrong?) Or could be one of the other locations. I believe all locations the weapons have been dismantled and removed supposedly so im not sure what they are used for now but tye site itself is quite impressive to see. Its many many square miles of these bunkers uniformly spaced in all directions as far as the eye can see. There has to be thousands of them so if your ever traveling on I84 in Central/eastern oregon keep an eye out for them.
