As an Indian living in Australia, i support the rejection of visas. Indian behave like they're living in India. Ladies in my class from punjab will speak only punjabi and ask desi lectures if they can teach the class in Hindi. Also occasionally the khalistanis will do demonstrations here creating traffic. Many indians visiting nearby Vietnamese cities lile bali also disrespect locals there. They think all the ladies there will sleep with them for money. The reporter should see this side of Indians before questioning the west on why they reject visas. In my opinion this reporter is biased and wont show the entire truth to the world.

Go to NZ govt. Educate them about the states more. 'Good behavior states' anyway suffer within India. At least we should have 'separate state-level brand' which may help us to escape international humiliation. Being indian i was put into severe check and questions by immigration officers at Hong kong, Macua and Japan though i have decent travel history...this is due to indians have reputation of over staying in the past in Dubai / Malaysia/ Singapore with tourist visa. I am a cruise ship worker and i travel US and canada every year . In 2023 i had my joining at dry dock in spain . And i was in Schengen visa center in kolkata . There i meet one sardar ji . He was their for the tourist visa and he told me , all his family members in Canada but his visa 7 times got rejected by the canadian authority. Now he want to get a tourist visa for spain and he have a plan to not come back . And he was telling me all those thing with extremely loud voice in front of the visa application center. Thats pure BS. Im an aussie citizen. I wanted a close friend from India to visit me for 1 week and stay at the home i own in Sydney. He's an IT professional with a respected global firm, has his own house and lives with his family and has more savings than i have. NONE of this convinced the 'Visa officer' that he was a "Genuine Temporary Entrant" . His tourist visa was rejected twice! We decided to meet in Bali instead. I disagree with the general rehtoric that most indians are trying to immigrate 'illegally' . Ive lived in sydney since 2017 and have not heard of a single case of indians overstaying tourist visas amd living illegally. I know families that have spent 50000AUD to get long term visas for their parents and are still waiting after 5 years. Wait till this happens to you, and then lets see whos the Nationalist.

In the West, we see a romantizised version of India, watching Bollywood movies, the amazing outfits, the impressive dance choreographies, the drama, ... but when you arrive at Delhi airport and step outside, that moment when you breath in and it literally stings your lungs and you only want to get into the plane again to fly home. India is the 5th largest economy. Is that the reason why Indians any level should not be rejected visas. Well, out of all Indian revenue 90% wealth belong to only 10% population and rest of all Indians are living below poverty line. Usually those who can prove that they will return to India from countries like Australia, UK, New Zealand, EU, UAE and USA as you mentioned then they are given visas, otherwise no luck.
