If Ukraine got Nukes or Russia received intel that lead them to believe Ukraine received nukes, with would likely lead to a preemptive strike, and it wouldn't have to come from Russia. It would be to get the first strike and advantage in a full scale or modified scaler war. Ukraine receiving such weapons would be a direct expotiential threat, not just to Russia proper but all Russian allies. I believe they would answer in a huge way.
