Cannibalism did existed in PNG, but that was before Europeans colonised us. By 1939, there was no such thing as Cannibalism. Our ancestors fought and died, helped the Allied forces won the war on New Guinea. Our ancestors also helped carried the sick and wounded to safety through the tough and rough terrain of PNG.
