We have owned this system for over a year, we are in Canada, now on our second brutally cold winter, and the cameras outside are still holding up fine. From anywhere in the world with decent-speed internet, we can monitor our home exterior 24/7/365. It's been a wonderful protector, we live in a town with high crime rates (that we were previous victims of), but once word got around we had a good security system, the shenanigans have slowed WAY down - but not completely, some meth-heads are still dumb enough to try their luck... the two that tried were arrested and charged, thanks to us being able to identify them even on night-vision footage, thanks to THIS SYSTEM. One thing, you can get a few months worth of footage out of the 2TB HD that 'rotates' when it gets full, as in deletes the oldest footage on the drive. I recommend once the HD reaches its capacity, you format it like a new drive, or else it will be prone to very 'choppy' recording situations. Also, I seem to have lost the ability to change the bitrate/resolution record settings from the admin menu on the NVR box. That may have something to do with administering also from my Windows PC (the PC app is called ESEECLOUD, and its much less friendly to navigate around than the mobile apps available). Example - you can only EVER, it appears, playback a single camera channel of recording at once. Even with a fairly recent update, EseeCloud will NOT automatically 'sync up' all four cameras to playback simultaneously, I have to pick each camera one by one, and seek the time one by one as well. That is my largest grievance about this system. One last thing, the wifi connection with one camera has indeed been lost from time to time. But a simple repositioning/re-hiding of our NVR box fixed all that. For the price, the system is GREAT and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as a first or even subsequent security system. The detection features are really good, you can 'zone' parts of your video image OUT of the desired detection area as well. The integration with the Mobile app "IP PRO" is fantastic. With the PC - its ok, but could be so much better. Sorry this got a little long, but I just thought I'd share my experience, and also make up for the extreme vagueness of a pointless, nagative five-word review here among these comments. To me, a product that does what it advertises, and proves to be a good 'bang for the buck' from user EXPERIENCE ... INDEED deserves a good review!! Good job, Firstrend.

@reformedcraftsman3373 No, not even a trial sub with this particular system. If you get an NVR (control box) with a hard drive in it, there's absolutely no need for a subscription, since you can record the 4 cams all day long, the hard drive will always keep the most recent 2 months of footage. You can also program your app or box to only record when the cameras detect movement - this would actually give you even more than a year of surveillance footage. On the PC, app, or box itself, you can access the footage down to the date/hour/minute you need to see.

You did not mention any options like motion detect, privacy blocks, scheduled record, play back options like search, play back speeds etc, or does it not have any of these? I did not see any alarm output options to connect to an alarm system. Otherwise another good video :)

Yes Orac I hear you. I am not an true expert at doing security cameras views. This was a sponsored video so I tried my best. Sorry for the extra missing parts I may have left out. It does have playback speed up to 32x, and playback search. I don't see an option for connecting to alarm system, and the other features mentioned.

These cameras transmit footage 100% wirelessly. But!!! you have to give each camera power with their adapter. So you will have to wire a power socket close by, to give each camera power.

I have been using mines since making this video back in 2019 and the only issue I ever had was one camera dropping off and reconnecting on its own. When I troubleshoot four problems it was the plug that needed cleaning from coal contacts. I have not had the problem with all cameras are dropping off everyday, that tells me they could be a problem with the DVR or the power adapter supplying power to the DVR. What can happen is that true lightning storms or power outages sometimes the power adapter can get a partially damaged and the DVR sometimes loses power. When it happens the monitor will go blank. If the cameras are dropping off you would see that NVR local but not a blank screen. So as an experiment change the location of the plug and monitor for power loss. Another thing you can do is you can take the adapter to your electronic store and ask if there is a universal adapter you can use in case the one it came with got partially damaged.

Great video - I have had 8 camera's for 2.5 years BUT now it's saying storage is full and it will not record. Any idea why? It's supposed to override itself. The manual doesn't help. I don't think Firstrend is in business anymore, their phone number is disconnected & my email bounced back. Any help is appreciated.

why does everyone skip connecting it, how am i supposed to connect this to my network? my pc and router are in one room, tv is in another. pc moniter only has cables to direct plug into pc desktop, so can i just plug this into router to view, or do i need to figure out how to run a long ass cable all the way to my tv for this to work

No the system uses its own built-in wireless signal it uses, totally independent from the internet and no cat5 cable needed. Internet is only required to plug in via LAN to the back of the DVR so you can access the DVR with your mobile phone. the LAN port on the camera itself is for programming additional cam to the DVR or for programming a replacement cam.

Yes of course you can once you have data on your mobile and using the recommend app. There is also a way to check it on a PC. The feed is also very clean once your home network is above 30Mbps

No the firmware has not been updated. Even with a firmware update the cameras themselves do not have a PTZ or autotracking feature.

Once that happens it means the power adapters died switch out and troubleshoot to see if other power adapters work on them. Power adapters are readily available to purchase on Amazon as all carry the 12V and barrel plug type.

I cannot say for sure what's the issue why it's not reading your mouse. You should contact the seller through tech support even though I heard that they have poor customer support. Your best bet may be to file a claim for replacement.

No the LAN port is for only programing it to the DVR. IF you purchase additional cameras, "it can take 8" that's how you add them to the DVR with the LAN port.

It means that the hard drive on the inside is defective and needs replacing. So you purchase a new regular 2 TB laptop hard drive or SSD. Unscrew the bottom of NVR, replace the hard drive. Start up the NVR and it will ask you to format the new hard drive and that's it.

These cameras don't need Wi-Fi to work. They have their own wireless signal from the camera to the receiver that has nothing to do with your Internet service. The matter of fact this camera system can work without Internet. Internet is only needed for logging in by phone when you are away from your home. And by the way it has very good range without losing any quality.

No signal extended needed over 60 - 100 ft and signal is strong. And they also durable since making this video I have not taken them down since or had to change an adapter and we had many lightning storms and power outages and they hold up.

Tried two different TV's and multiple inputs. Is there something else I need to do to get this system to work. The NVR box has green power light illuminated.

The person who sold you this either sold you a busted system or the system was reset to factory defaults. So here is what you do. Using an Ethernet LAN Cable connect each camera one at a time, to the DVR and follow the steps in this video. Yes channels stands for the number of cameras it can take. With this system you can upgrade to any size hard-drive or SSD you want. just install it and select format hard-drive in the settings area.

Programing the camera to the DVR. Let's say one is broken and you purchased a replacement, you connect it to the DVR via LAN cable and it will sync with the DVR.

They don't work with WiFi, you need an Ethernet LAN cable connected to the DVR only to view it on your mobile phone that's it. The cameras and the DVR have their own wireless connection and work without the need for internet.

Right click mouse. System Setup General Setup HDD setup Select hard drive from list and click format. ( all footage erased) Under auto erase select custom to change the number of days before old footage is deleted. Save and exit menu.

I can't in any way what's causing your issue. However, since creating this video I still have these cameras up and they are nowhere close to my DVR. One is even 10m away behind two walls outside. Furthermore, my father purchased the same unit and his house is even bigger than mines and it works without any kind of distortion. So I'm not saying you are not having issues I just don't know what is causing your issue with the transmission.

Je n'ai donc pas la transcription originale que je peux télécharger dans le backend et traduire en français. Si j'utilise la fonction de traduction automatique, il y aura de nombreuses erreurs de grammaire et d'orthographe.
