Just to clear up a technicality...... unless I am reading it wrong, to burn the boats is almost the exact opposite of what Arthur Smith said..... if you were to burn the boats in this scenario, you'd either cut Fields or commit fully to Russell. He was implying that they will burn the boats and use all options, but that is just not what that term means. It means ELIMINATING all other options and fully committing to a path.
