So true, Rob Lowe. Tertiary characters are often the nuance in fiction. Without them, the main character would not progress in any meaningful way. They're the glue that holds an entire plot together. Just today my partner and I were discussing who the main character was on Just Shoot Me. She believes it was Maya. I said the premise was introduced through Maya but the show was about the entire staff and so no one was truly the lead. The fact that I can recall quips of the photographer and the hubris of the model and the meddlesome nature of the secretary is a testament to the importance of supporting actors. That world was real because they made it real.

You know how everyone says "Rob Lowe just never seems to age"? This episode was like he served as President for 2 terms in 20 minutes! Still, he really seemed to have a great time with Sean.

I love how Rob brings up eating on camera. My wife loves the Big Bang Theory but watching them push food around every other scene drives me insane.
@munaus-33453 жыл бұрын
never thought about it, but it makes sense that we as the audience reacts to actual eating in a scene. One of my fondest eating scene is from a Terence Hill movie, "My name is Trinity". He ate directly from the pan. Bean stew, a whole bread and a jug of water. Terence sold it by acting like someone who's been travelling the desert starving. He said in an interview that prior to shooting he didn't eat the whole day

I was going to say that exact same thing! It was one of the eventually many things that annoyed me about that show.

i love and am currently watching the big bang theory, because i have never seen every episode before, and that doesnt even bother me.

I always closely watch how people "eat" during a scene too

Dude I've been saying this for years! I couldn't watch big bang theory because they would order tonnes of food and just sit there stirring it while talking, it drove me nuts

When he did the Da Bomb wings, he kept looking like he might burst into tears, lol, I actually almost felt really sorry for him 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Omg, his face was everything, poor guy 😆

Legit one of the best episodes ever! Been a fan of his since I read the story he wrote about his son leaving the house. The more I see about Rob the more I’m a fan.

This might be in my top 3 favorite episodes of this show. I love when good looking people are so humble and funny.

Rob Lowe had the best time being roasted because Ann Coulter was one of the roasters, and after a while everyone else pretty much ignored Rob Lowe and turned on Ann Coulter instead. She got eaten alive. It's one of the most glorious things I've ever seen.

She also flamed out spectacularly. She refused any help in writing material and showed why "conservative humour" always comes off horribly unfunny.
