I think it was the heat talking there. Cause I imagine going through that heat makes you think/associate in another way cause it was kinda obvious he meant the findings of what works to lessen the heat. I remember once eating a very spicy candy with liqurice combined with very hot chili and I thought I would be able to handle it and then I took a second one and I panicked cause the heat ramped up quite a bit. Didn't know where to go or how to make it stop cause I know water doesn't help, only for 2 seconds then it strikes harder.
