He is very articulate and honestly it is refreshing to hear someone like him speak. Lots of people today have made language so lazy and dumbed down that it's a shame. I’m in disbelief of how natural and enjoyable their conversation was throughout the end. We all agree that Sean's a great interviewer, but Elijah Wood as a guest is something else. He's just so effortlessly... himself. Not stuck-up, very well-spoken (even when he cursed it sounded amazing lol) and we can just see how passionate he is as an actor and human being in general. Also the part where he talks about not wanting to come off as a dick, it may sound simple, but you’d be surprised of how many people out there who wouldn’t even consider that on day to day life, let alone celebrities. So, props to Elijah!

While I watched this, I realized that I never saw an interview with Elijah Wood before. He seems to be very nice, down-to-earth and funny in a way I like. He also seems very natural and as strange as this might sound, but I like that he burped and blew his nose and obviously didn't want to get this parts cut out. What I like about this is, that he doesn't appear like somebody with no manners, but he's also not blushing a lot about it. He's just like "Sorry, but it is what it is, dude". And that's just fine and tells a lot about his character. This is the kind of people I like most.

Show you're listening to what they’re saying, be honest and apologize when you’re not to ask for them to repeat and take a sincere interest in their lives while trying to relate to them. Most importantly, though, try and learn from what is being said and only speak up when asked a question or if the conversation dies down. Eli shows just how simple this is!

@Chilled To The Core Something is wrong with you or either you are very, very speculative to the point where just of sheer emotion and expression and tone of a person you judge how they feel or how sincere they are. Which is not necessarily a big problem. It just means you lack some sort of optimistic thought behind ones said way of punctuation. And can ruin things the way they are originally sought out to be due to the fabricated singular thought process that your mind clings on to. Or simply you just need to smoke a blunt or have couple shots to ease the mind and rewatch this and see the differences of perception. I've done this before. And have tested it in various experiments.

He is incredibly, vividly descriptive of what he's feeling, tasting, and suffering through. It's a testament to how his brain functions, that he can continue to do that while eating all these wings. Perhaps for me, most impressive as compared to other guests, is that he seems to be genuinely hungry during this interview. He eats most of the meat from the majority of the wings. Everyone else, by and large, only takes a bit or sometimes two - other than Paul Rudd, who ate the entirety of every one of his cauliflower wings.

He projects true interest and sincerity with his guests, and whether he has a staff that helps him with research or he does it all himself, he's always prepared with a litany of great questions - from things that most fans would love to know more about to the "deep cuts" of random and obscure trivia that are pleasant surprises to his guests. No, you aholes, he has personality, he has Sean Evans' personality, the personality of a goofy yet intelligent guy who really knows how to make his interviews personable and friendly to the point that it doesn't even feel like an interview sometimes as much as a person making a new friend and trying to learn everything they can about them. Whether he gets help or not, he always goes above and beyond in researching his questions, and the vast majority of his guests come away seemingly genuinely happier for the experience.

It's a sign of Sean being a great host that he didn't force the conversation at the end to try and route it back to the standard last dab script. It was great for him to allow it to take the natural flow and let Elijah say what he wanted, it definitely made for a more genuine and fun end.

Yeah Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher and the actor who played Obi Won Kanobi didn't like talking about star wars in interviews and were almost embarrassed by it but all the lord of rings actors get excited to tell stories about that movie and answer questions. It's also a delight to see how Sean's interviews stand out and are often recognized for their research and good questions! So proud. :')

It's a great show, but the heat is definitely no joke. I'm sure the spice has deterred a lot of A-list guests from coming on. I'm fairly good with spice, I tried the hot ones sauces all the way through. Not only was it hot, in the words of Gordon Ramsay "it's not normal/natural". My body rejected it and literally had me puking for 30 minutes after. There's probably guests who would love to come on, just being physically incapable of handling the heat.
