Several answers to this question, you can do a quick google search for other points but what comes to mind is more opportunities to advance in the sociology space, more people who are actively working in that field that you can connect with, more funding from the schools in the US to study that course than Canada etc

Initially, I kept seeing a day to but when I checked last week, I saw this Wednesday for the next available date. I advise you keep checking. @@agathaugbogu7872 I'm sorry to hear about that. The chances of not getting a F1 visa when your sponsor is US citizens is 100%. Because the 214b is trying to say that u do not have any ties to your country of origin. Being that America is a capital country, they want money from outside to come into their country. So it's somehow difficult to get a visa if you have sponsor from USA or u if mention to officer that you have immediate relatives in the USA.
