i love songs like this--the ones that capture a sad, mournful, lost feeling with a major key cheerfulness and upbeat tempo vibe. The melody has a little Paul McCartney-esque-ish-ness about it, bringing a warm feeling of familiarity, and John's voice still sounds spectacular, tho i admit i'm a sucker for that strong, raspy style personally. My only exposure to Fischer-Z is the album "Red Skies Over Paradis" which i came to from loving the tracks i'd heard in Deutschland '83 back when it first came out, but that album has become a part of my permanent listening landscape and this new tune is going on a 'walking' playlist pronto. Thank you for making your great music free to those of us who wouldn't otherwise have access. Cheers from America :)
