Hell yeah! My brother shot this video for them! He’s worked with them so much since then these were made. Fun fact all the instruments in this video are were brand new bc their instrument trailer was stolen the night before these were shot.

That first line, he's bringing her flowers after not seeing her for a long time, and when he sees her he can tell something's changed. He then goes into recalling their younger days, sneaking across her daddy's land, and her dad telling him he's not good enough for his little girl. Presumably he goes off and makes something of himself, which is why he hasn't seen her in a while. He then talks about the girl she used to be, with hopes and dreams that never materialized. But he still loves her after all this time, and he stays with her as she slowly fades away. It comes full circle in the last verse where he brings her flowers again, and drops one on her coffin as they lower her into the grave. I imagine him saying that last verse to her at her grave some time later. "It was a rose. I thought you should know."
