Recipe: Fish Amritsari
Serves- 3-4
Preparation time- 10 mins
Cooking time- 10 mins
Dish Type- Snacks
Ingredients
• Bhetki fish finger - 250gm
• Lemon juice - 1tbsp
• Turmeric - 1tsp
• Salt - 2tsp
• Red chili powder - 1tsp
• Cumin powder - 1tsp
• Coriander powder - 1tsp
• Garam masala powder - 1tsp
• Ajwain - 1tsp
• Ginger and garlic paste - 1tsp
• Egg - 1nos
• Suji - 2tbsp
• Mustard oil - 1tbsp
• Rice flour - ½ cup
• Basin - 1cup
• Chopped coriander - 1tbsp
• Baking soda - 1pinch
• Chat masala - 1tbsp
Method
• Take bhetki fish and cut in to finger size and then marinate it with lemon juice, turmeric, salt, red chili powder, cumin powder, ajwain, ginger and garlic paste, egg, suji, mustard oil, rice flour, basin, chopped coriander and baling soda then mix it well with everything.
• Now for frying, place a pan and start heating oil then out fish pics in oil one by one for better frying of fish and fry the fish till it gets golden brown color.
• Once it is done, service it on a plate and garnish with chaat, masala and enjoy….

I think it's a easy fish to fillet.But filleting a Rohu or catla is most difficult I have ever encountered because of so many pinbones everywhere on body of fish.
