He recommends wearing a PFD while on the water yet he isn't wearing one. Not sure about the other guy. The boater card is a joke. Took me 3 hrs. I put a dip in and jammed through it. When you come to a question you don't know open up another window on your PC and do a search for the answer.

The Boaters ID is required for kayaks with a motor. Just an fyi so you don’t run into this in the future .

Boater id scam doesnt go into effect untill 25! Also you dont have to have it if the boat is a rental, shits a joke!

You are wrong and stating bad information. For his age (under 45) he was required to have a boater safety card since Jan 2022. 50yrs and under since 2023, 60 and under in 2024, everyone regardless of age by 2025. Whether you like it or not, it is a requirement.

Puzzling that they made you drive to their boat. I don’t understand why they didn’t pull up along side your boat as they are trained to do. If you had damaged their boat while trying to pull up next to them as instructed, could you have been held liable for causing the damage?

Same here when it first came out but that’s not the case! You pay 10 bucks to apply! You still need to pay $20-25 to take an online class and once you take it they send info to California gov where you first applied to and then you get your boater card certificate email and a physical one in the mail

These guys are an embarasement to state parks and DFW. The guy running the boat doesn’t know what he’s doing. I’ve made literally thousands of boardings and he can’t do one. And 500 feet is closer to 2 football fields. Did the warden even check the fishing license.
