Late summer, early autumn are the best times to visit Norway for the first time. Big cod and halibut at present all year up around. But the Arctic circle is where you need to go if you want to catch halibut 👍😁

Nice one Gonzo, there are still cod at low water in the night of rush harbour. you know the rocks to the left. I fished on the other on the strand at low water and got some nice ones for north side. Thanks brother 👍😁👌

Open season: Private Anglers: September 15-30; April 1-14 Party/Charter Anglers: September 8-October 7; April 1-14 Minimum size: 21 inches Though April 1 also starts haddock and we can get 20 17 inches and above. That is what they target now.
