I have 2 humminbird fish finders at my console, I bought an external transom mount water speed and temp sensor for about $20.00. I installed this in my live well where the recirculate water return is. this gives me the temp of my live well and also the speed let's me know that the pump is working properly.

I striper fish year round an I use a bait tank 99% of the time mine is a 30 gal an I also have a 35 gal I always put five handfuls of salt what else can I do to keep them more lively I already use your foam off also in the summer after a day in the sun some might get red nose not many but don't any to be stressed thanks an good luck

Nick Lankford nick I have guided for 20 years and I will tell you what I do The water temperature in your tank directly decides how much salt you need In a 30 bait tank you need to put 26 ounces of salt for temperatures over 84. Under that 84 less and less salt the lower the temperature Any time you have any red noses that means you don’t have enough salt. Under 58 degrees Water you don’t need any salt unless you have exceeded the number of baits that you should have in 30 gals If you fish north of Charlotte NC you don’t need any oxygen gadgets of any kind south of there you might If you have foam in your tank that means you have too much oxygen and pee And the number one lesson in bait tanks is , if your tank does not circulate water counter clockwise and filter water then you really should buy a super bait tank II before Ron vest dies and you can’t get one any more I have several they they will be for sale after they bury me.

No, that's a separate issue that livewell additives cannot address.
