Those Rippin Raps are awesome baits! Rapala baits have hands down the best versatility, I love using the Rippin Raps for Lake Trout, Walleye, Pike and Musky for both open water and through the ice; now I'm going to start using them for Bass!

Smallmouth LOVE rattles. Rapala Clackin raps (minnow or shad) purple descent color was soooo productive for me on Lake Champlain.

Very nice fishing show but perhaps there was and editing mix-up? Other than the first five seconds of footage possibly, this was not on, in, or near Washington Island. This starts off in Porcupine Bay, between Ellison Bay and Sister bay, and drifting southwards towards the north part of Sister Bay.

Hey James! When fishing this type of presentation how do you tie on? With a Fluorocarbon leader? Also are you using a snap swivel at all? I know you use the #7 a lot. Do you normally tie on the smae most of the time?

+Ben Grams def looks like hes using a fluoro leader and a duolock snap....start at 7:06 you can tell its not braided line there, then 7:16 you can see the duolock style snap (no swivel).
