I do like pier but personally for me, maybe I'm biased due to it being my local, but for me wharf is the best, especially as I'm reefer as well as a tropical and cold water fish keeper.

Wharf is great I went for the first time recently to buy rays but for me Pier is the best of all. Love the place

Another enjoyable video Paul and Pier is without doubt the best. I have been going here for over 30 years and believe it or not I still get lost - it's a pig to find but well worth it when you get there and manage to park !!!! I bought two beautiful chocolate cichlids from them last year - not cheap but excellent quality. Hi Ian, I am not sure where the station is as I don't live in the area but I notice the station is on Wallgate and so is Wigan Pier so can't be far away. Whatever, it will be worth the effort. Hope you enjoy it.

I’m with you Paul the best store there is by quite a distance over any bar Wharf which is a closer second. Been going for about 20 years and it’s always top drawer and with great staff

I recognise how good Pier are for fish, but not so much for hardscape. Where would you say is a great place for hardscape in Greater Manchester? I'm having a hard time finding anywhere. Best I've found so far is Maidenhead Aquatics in Wigan.

awesome video mate, i have 3x silver dollar, they huge bigger than your fist, had them many years, i got two red shoulder severum, and some geos. must go to wigan shop, looks great, are the prices ok etc, thanks form sharing, keep upm the good work, take care

Thanks Ian I love Red Tiger Sevs they are amazing yes well worth a visit to Pier they have mix and match when it comes to price and some stuff is that rare or wild caught it can be pricy however affordable at the same time

I use to go pier aquatics all the time I lived near there and was a customer for 15 years but after last time never again the owner was swearing at me and being rude in front my little cousin as I asked to pick a fish out he known to be rude to customers and my friend worked there and quit her job because of him
