Mullet. I caught one in Bulimba creek last week. Almost olive colour on the back but really shiny metalic look on the sides.

Been trapping cane toad tadpoles at Les Aitkinson Park in Sunnybank Hills, there's a pond in the park with a lot of green swordtails and guppies, and the stormwater runoff is a lot cleaner to trap and net in, and ive been getting some absolutely stunning endlers out of there, lot of snakeskins. Some pretty striking females with a lot of colouration, worth a visit! And if you wanna try something different, try whacking some venom glands from a cane toad in the trap if you ever spot a shoal of toadpoles, they're cannibalistic and you can lure a whole heap of them.

Do you two legends believe that we should have a license to own fish tank? Also do you believe that every imported fish and its owner should be registered? Would that stop dumping and destruction of domestic fish?

I don’t know about the fish hobby but it works for the reptile hobby, but it works because we can only keep native reptiles to begin with and haven’t been able to own non natives
