Currently sat in my apartment half way up a skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan. For some reason I remembered a morning on the Weaver many moons ago on the stick and feeder. You did a good job of keeping those bream busy in the swim. Thanks Danny and KZbin for this vid.

Danny - great bag of fish! As you say, it's a dilemma - fish are feeding on both lines so what do you choose? Although the stick is preferential in my opinion, the feeder always seems to throw up the better fish. Fished the Lea in 2001 after my friend advised me that he was losing bigger fish on the pole whilst fishing squatt and breadpunch (he loved bags of small silvers!) - slow plodding fight he told me. Believing they were bream, I went with him on the August Bank Holiday of 2001 and balled it with 10 balls of brown crumb / fishmeal mix which included squatts, casters, hemp and chopped worm. Started down the track on a pole for some small silvers but I could see the 'fizzing' where the bait had been put. Switched to the feeder, using Dendrobaena worms on a 14 and and ended up landing 14 Bream to 5lb, plus a bonus 1lb Perch - would have been more but for a boat going over their heads which spooked them for 2 hours - another 'balling' with 5 more balls did the trick before they finally switched off. Bream aren't every anglers favourite - but for me. I'll fish for anything that swims!!🤣

just shows doesnt it mate the fish are there and right baiting can get them, on here i think you could have a nice days fishing on maggot for roach and chub, but unless you ball ground bait the skimmers dont show and bream.

Great stuff Danny, I've walked that stretch for many years, good acquisition for Lymm AA. How close were you to the far bank, casting to the far bank, clipped up would be good to show on video.
