I know we're never too fat to fish... But I think my knee begs to differ on that. Good stuff as usual my man!

Get bait feeder reels for the danglers. Too many issues with regular reels. The bait feeders are awesome for deadsticking over the boat in the summer too

FUN Video THANKS! I want to go fish the Ohio, but there are way too many ice chunks floating down, right now,,, & we don't have any easy access to a backwater pool, that's totally frozen up FWIW,,, I like to build anything & everything. I Go to garage sales & buy up a bunch of old, even broken fishing poles, & levelwind reels. Get a piece of hardwood, 2.5" wide x 1" thick, & about 12" -16" long. Mount the levelwind reel to the bottom, about 4-5" up, & drill a hole in the top for glueing in a small diameter, 12" piece of fishing pole. ( 2 eyelets) Use the very light-duty top end piece. Attach 2 smaller pieces of wood near the top sides for legs, so that they can easily fold flat, or stand the 'pole holder' up off the ice. Most of those old levelwind reels have clickers on them, & MY invention is totally self contained! I wish I could post you a picture,,,, They work great for dead-stick'n,,, especially if you get into a bunch of bigger fish! lol,,, & your not loosing $30-$40 IF the fish manages to pull your pole into the drink!
