FISH4FUN: EARLY WINTER FISHING A SMALL LAKE

Fishing small waters is one of my favorite things to do so when my fishing buddy asked me to join him fishing a small lake I jumped at the opportunity. Although we intended to fish for Bluegill and Crappie, there is some surprise action, so come along and watch. Hi Jerry! Great video. I have made it a habit to tie my lures, tieing lines together, attaching line to my reel only with the guide's knot and Wally Marshal loop knot for my jigs.Thanks for being a great guy and for all you share!

I really enjoyed the trip. Some very nice fish in that little lake. But you nearly scared me off with the "Winter' intro. I sure hope no one in charge heard that timetable comment. Thanks for the trip.

Mr Routh, love your videos. Your old Mitchell reel it it a 300 or 308? I have my father's 300 which is older than me. (58) I can't remember ever going fishing with out it growing up.

The reel is a Mitchell 408. I have over 50 308 and 408 models. Best designed overall spinning reel ever made. You got two extra spools for different weight lines when you bought them. Now you can't even get a replacement spool without contacting the MFG. Thanks for coming along and commenting.

@@jerryrouth6115 Thank you so much for replying. I am a 100% disabled veteran and my wife and I are looking to possibly move from KS to your neck of the woods. I can't say enough about you videos. How is your brother doing? Have not seen him in your videos in a while.
