@@InvitedLynx 7.1 is literally just a gimmick. I've used both Arctis Raw (early version of Arctis 1) and Arctis 1 and its been almost 2.5 yrs. Build quality is bad but it is comfortable. I play Rainbow 6 and Valorant mostly and believe me your accuracy will improve a lot. You're rarely gonna miss any footstep or movement! If my headset breaks, I'm going to buy Arctis again or maybe Corsair

Fine if nobody is seeing that but I'd belive everything comes at a cost. You're getting excellent performance and sound so you've to cut in that segment

Well, all of those three are good, but the Corsair design does not make me love it, the SteelSeries however has a good design and audio, I tested it out at a store and the headset sounds great, but the razer Kraken X got my love, it was on sale and good price for a good headset. i also ended up with the Kraken X USB version after trying them out. The Corsair design felt too big/bulky for me. Steelseries felt comfortable, but the build quality felt .. cheap to me. It feels so good to no longer have headaches bc of my headphones, they sit well and the sound is very awesome. The surroundsound program also helps the sound a bit IMO. The headphones were honestly little bigger than I thought but I also have a really slim head soo xD Honestly, I'm proud of my purchase!

Thanks a lot for a review, i'm planning to have Arctis 1 now bcs for the best comfort earcup than the other. Razer has best mic quality but terrible with durability which is 95% made of plastic. At least arctis 1 has sounds clear and it's enough for me and for the durability imo the headband material Arctis 1 looks like my Logitech G231 that i had before for 4 years (and now recently has loss sound on left ear sometimes) My logitech has crack on the side bcs i was using while sleeping but the function still normal for 4 years so i'm looking for a new similiar one and yeah arctis 1 is my choice.

Razer accessories and equipments has a tendency to break itself down even if you barely used it throughout a year... Yeah it just likes to suddenly go static out of nowhere. The Corsair S50 Pro is the replacement ones and has a detachable mic, meaning you could simply buy a separate mic without worrying about the one sticking out of the headset if you wanted.

It is based on an audiophile headphone which is the takstar pro82 and it's a lot cheaper than the arctis 5 :) If you want an open back, buy the superlux 6681b and a separate usb/lav mic.

Surround sound can be used on ps4 but you need to program it on pc and it sounds trash on console, surround sound is not meant for console

I wanna get one (gaming headset) for work virtual calls since office headsets arent that comfy to the ears for longer usage due to them just pressing the ears. Will any of these 3 be decent enough for work calls? I cant find noise reduction/rejection samples for these (or for most gaming headsets actually).
