Remarkable machine.Ditto Merkel Playmaster that plays both sides of a record in sequence.I only own a standard drop sequence autochanger [BSR UA 14] & use duplicate sets of records for the same result-alternate sides being played in sequence [78s & Lps]

I have seen other models do any ofthese types play 45 rpm records or just 78 or 33 rpm records. these units are so amazing to watch they are a mechanical marvel . thank you for sharing this video

This Fisher Lincoln changer brings back memories, I had one back in 1966. The action on mine was a bit smoother. I was in touch with a fellow from the Fisher Linclons' service department. He sold me extra "o" rings and rubber parts he thought I'd need to keep it running. He sold me three of the rubber boots for the record spindle. After many months of operation the rubber would tear and loose vacuum and not hold the record. Finally after using them up several years later, I had no other choice but to dump the changer, since no other parts were available. WHERE did you find rubber boots for your record spindle?? Congratulations on having it still running.

Where can you find the rubber parts?
@ilfafioccaro4172 жыл бұрын
No where, there’s no spare parts, you have to rebuild them, but unfortunately for some of them is impossible, I was lucky enough to found a machine with the most critical part still in fair shape, the only parts I had sto change were some pipes and the small rubber tube that grab the record from the central hole…

Was your machine working when you got it? Or did you have to repair any of the vacuum system?
@ilfafioccaro4176 жыл бұрын
no, it was complete but not working... it took quite a long tiome to take it back to original standard... mostof the rubber parts were changed, the vacum punt was ok but due to the american standard (60hz) here in europe had some problem of suction...

ilfafioccaro I’m restoring one now. I think once you get the suction vacuum motor working it will cycle and be fine Yours looks perfect Hoping mine will to :) The left platter there’s a pin that pushed down when a Records on it, does that start the vacuum pump and cycling start to start playing it?
