From an era that was absolutely amazing growing up in, the 1980s. The man with the music ( Jam Box) as we called them was always surrounded by pretty girls dancing to the beat... Thanks for the memories

Omg My old boombox. I bought mine the summer of 1982 from an electronic store with in the Greyhound station in downtown Los Angeles. It kept me entertained for years. Best sounding boombox.

How much do you think this one is worth. I have one but it's missing a couple knobs and cassette doesn't work. End cap on one antenna is missing and no power cord.

Depends on cosmetic condition. If it's clean besides the problems you mentioned, you'd probably get $150 on ebay.

Sweet lookin' Fisher. I bought my dad a Sanyo C-4 boombox in 1983. When he died in late 1990's I got it back. Use it in my den. It has 5.5wpc, speakers with 4" vented woofers and 1.5" tweeters and can be separated five feet. Has a Phono and Aux input, five band EQ. Speakers are -/+3dB @ 70Hz. Still works fine.

Yeah most of them will need service due to broken belts

@@Manuel-km9nq Yeah probably because the belt is slipping. Needs to be replaced. Mine looked good because it came from another collector. Just has some scratches under the graphic EQ.
