I’m 60 now I have worked all over the world. I was born in a small community south of Halifax I miss the people the spirit the tales the music the heart. I am able to retire it’s time to come home I am proud to be Canadian but I’m more proud to be a maritimer God bless New Scotland
@CommanderOutdoors5 ай бұрын
Amen man, the maritimes still have some culture and identity. The rest of Canada until you hit Alberta is either English hating or a mix of immigrants and basically an extension of New Yorkers in Ontario

The world I live in is starved for this. For culture. For history. For tales (tall, harrowing and bawdy). For soul. Thank you and the FF. Soothing balm for this caustic year.

Rest in peace Trevor and Paul... singing has been a part of Cornwall for thousands of years, we sang underground and we sang as we fished, the singing used to help them keep in time to haul the nets into our Cornish Luggers And we've also sang in pubs lol... I remember as a child all the fishermen singing as they mended their nets on the slip, on days they couldn't put to sea. Funny how things stick in your memory!

Awesome to hear! I’m a fishing charter in the US. Maybe I’ll get my clients to sing along while we fish. 🤓
