I grew up in Helston and then Porthleven. I do not class myself as Cornish as I was born in London however I was privilaged to be brought up in the "Cornish Way", and it has served me well. I was forced to move away due to lack of career opportunities, I was ending my education when RTZ decided to pull the plug. The Minack is simply stunning and complimented with Porthcurno. These fellas are simply brilliant, keeping the past alive...love them to bits! Ps. If you ever have the privilage to see a show at the Minack....take a cushion! 🙂

Amongst other things I’ve watched at the stunning location of The Minack Theatre and my favourite so far is a performance of the opera La Traviata. Outstanding with such a backdrop and acoustics.
