Fisherman’s Song at Eventide | China Philharmonic Orchestra

Rearranged from its classical guzheng version by Li Guoquan, this version of “Fisherman’s Song at Eventide” became wide-spread around the world. At the concert celebrating the 20th birthday of the China Philharmonic Orchestra, the violin soloist Zhao Chan performed a new version of this piece rearranged by Zou Ye. This new version reflects the growth of the CPO in these 20 years as witnessed by the composer, and it is also a precious historical review of the development of violin performance in China.
