Righty cranks a baitcaster with the right hand, but cranks a spinning reel with the left hand. That’s the most perplexing thing I’ve ever seen. I am right handed, I crank with my right hand for everything.

@@Joe-bh4vz I rarely use bait casters but the ones I do have are left handed reel. I can’t stand reeling with my right hand. I never understood the bait caster guys casting right handed then switching hands to reel

That’s a different ballgame. You are dealing with huge swings in tide. But basically, yes. Gear will be a bit different, longer cast in most conditions. We are spoiled in the Gulf.
