The Ozama River is one of the most important, and perhaps the most iconic in the city of Santo Domingo and the Dominican Republic. With almost 150 kilometers of route, it flows into the waters of the Caribbean Sea and the colonial city of Santo Domingo was built on its shores.
Currently, despite its sad state of contamination due to the sinking of boats and the waste of marginalized neighborhoods on its shores, we can see how a couple of fishermen look for food in its waters.
