I keep watching your videos to see if I can make a decision. Years ago I used to live in Indy...I graduated from broadripple high-school and went to iupui for couple years...but for some personal reasons I moved to California and have been living there since. I love California but it's getting very expensive and crowded now... I am thinking of retiring in couple years and buying a condo in Fishers or Carmel... A simpler life and a lot more affordable....but I am afraid to make such a big decision....I keep coming back to your videos for more info...Thanks.

Hello, thanks for your videos they are very helpful. My wife and I moved to Indianapolis just 1 week ago.We are thinking buy a home in a future no too far. We have been checking the houses market and we noticed in Far East of Indianapolis, the house are cheaper, so my question is: Is that a bad zone, or what is not good there, can you tell us your opinion about the const and pros of that place please?

It depends on what part of the east you're talking about. If you get into Lawrence you'll find a large number of nice areas that are more affordable than many other parts of Indy or some of the suburbs.

I use to live in FIshers a few years ago, then moved back to Indianapolis which was the biggest mistake (hate it). Now I am moving back out to Fishers in 2 weeks into the perfect place. I use to live out in Carmel as well, but I love Fishers much better! Can't wait to move back! Suburb life is AMAZING!😍

Hi. We’re a well off interracial family and is strongly considering relocating from PA to Indiana mainly Fishers or Greenwood areas. My main concern is diversity. Is it African American friendly? My husband is Caucasian so I have a feeling he will be okay most places. No offense to anyone and I don’t believe in beating around the bush, but we do know race is a issue in most places. I can handle my own but our kids need a diverse community. Thanks for the review on everything else, really great info.

Hello! Diversity isn't incredibly strong in Fishers or Greenwood. Both are about 83% white... however they aren't exactly the same. I do have quite a few details about that and would be happy to discuss it with you. Feel free to call or email and we can chat about it. Another place to consider if diversity is important would be Lawrence. It's just to the south of Fishers and is about 63% white. It has some beautiful areas and is quite popular. It wraps around the south end of Geist Reservoir and goes further south past Fort Harrison State Park. It's less expensive but you can find homes over 1 million there as well. I do like Lawrence because of this as well as the landscape. The location is pretty solid too.

Hi Patience! We are an interracial family as well. I recommend Plainfield or Avon. We moved from a very diverse location on the Eastside of Indianapolis, to Hendricks county last year and are very happy with the results for our children. Good luck with your search!

Moved to Fishers 3 yrs ago right before the large increase in house prices, I was able to afford a great house, so far my only regret is not having it done sooner, btw I used to lived on South Florida, great weather but miserable lifestyle and challenging financially even with a decent salary. An yes: schools, schools, schools. It's not Carmel, but I think the local district does a great job.

Brownsburg, Fishers, Carmel (but note, Carmel has a lot of students in its school system, so it may not give your kids the best opportunity for things)

I only have good things to say about Westfield. Great schools... In fact, I've been in real estate for 8 years. Before that I was a science teacher at Westfield High School. It had 650 kids when I started. It's now 2300 or so. They've done really well with the growth and the leadership there has it's head on straight. Westfield is a fantastic community too. The only negative would be if you work deep into Indianapolis. Some parts of Westfield can be pretty far north and add time to your commute. But, if you work on the north side it could be a really nice option. Happy to discuss any details! Reach out if you like.
