Shudders. Just seeing that dirty snow hurts my Florida Soul. LOL. My best friend lives in a pdonk lil town south of Indy. But I would move to the middle of Fishers, Carmel, Westfield and Noblesville ( them safe cozy burbs ) Like I'm used to NOW in Tally. My other best friend is up north too and I love Canada so I'd get me a lil apartment there as a hopping off point. In the Summer only though of course. Brrrrrrrrr!!

I'm going to Indianapolis next week. I hate driving there. Their taxes are low, but their roads and infrastructure absolutely suck. That said, Indiana is getting a lot of people from Illinois who are moving there due to Illinois' higher than average taxes.

You drove through my friends neighborhood. Fishers is a great city. Forbes is right about Carmel. Most of the cities and towns in Hamilton County are safe. The commute to Indy is horrible so I recommend getting a job locally if you want to live in Hamilton County. What small town did Katie’s family live? I grew up in Westfield and still have family in Hamilton County.

@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS actually, I heard more hispanics are moving to Chicago. The ones moving out are being replaced by more moving in. The Illinoisans moving to Indiana from Illinois are rural whites, although they pay less taxes than Chicagoans. In the last census, if I remember right, Chicago's population grew by .02% or something like that, while the rest of Illinois lost population. I live in Illinois, and I'm staying put until my wife and I retire. Then it's off to Sebring or somewhere between there and Orlando.

@@hoopty. most who are moving out of Illinois is because of Chicago voting habits. Downstate Illinois is red. But most Illinoisans live in the northeast corner.

If you're in Fishers, Indiana in the months of May- November go check out Geist Reservoir, also Top Golf, IKEA and the surrounding area, Downtown Fishers, Nickel Plate Trail. Note: there's a lot more Development that will be added over the next few years

Do some Minnesota. Very beautiful state. You have a decent amount of big cities to check out. Minneapolis, St Paul, Rochester, Duluth, St. Cloud. Bloomington, Apple Valley, alot of decent towns there.
