Great video presentation, Jason Compton! Keep up the good work!

Fishers has definitely reached a point where its too much squeezed into a small space. Way too many people. My wife and i have noticed how many kids and teens are left roaming around by themselves. I fear its only a matter of time before Fishers will start to have some major issues. Not to mention $200k homes now going for $450k+. It wants to be Carmel so bad. When you compare it to a place like Fortville, its kind if sad how much they've dropped the ball with all the money spent.

Wow, what are the chances you posted this video 1 hour ago, and I just found out I am moving to Indianapolis. Thank you for the video! Sounds like Fishers received the same treatment as my hometown of Apex, North Carolina, south-west of Cary and Raleigh. Population of 16,000 when we moved there in 1998, and now it ramped up to 72,000. Little back roads now jammed up and a lot of pretty trees clear-cut to add massive population congestion. Much less majestic from when I was a kid.

This is crazy, we moved from Ft Wayne to Garner, NC and can't wait to move back to Indy area. NC is crazy, worse drivers I've ever seen and police do not enforce anything. We always said Cary is like Carmel Indiana. We regret ever leaving Indiana.

Where in Indy are you moving?

I’ve heard it’s quite congested in NC

That's like up here in Lake County Indiana where they have been talking with both Fishers & Carmel and using their ways to develop a lot up here. Now all these tiny roads are soo jammed up.

You're right next to my apartment complex (Sunblest Apts) 😅. I've been living in Fishers for 5 years. Originally from San Diego, moved to eastide Indy 🥴 for 2 years and then Fishers for the last 5. Love Fishers! Very family oriented, school system is top tier, safer and housing is affordable. We're actually closing on a house May 31st 😁. It's a 6 mins drive north of where you're at in this vid. I'm sure the OG's of Fishers dont like the growth, but times have changed. It is what it is. Either you accept it or move somewhere like Noblesville where it's less people and change.

I moved from Indianapolis to Fishers a year and a half ago. I have to say everything that's going on in Fishers is all for the best I like the change it's definitely more quiet and less chaotic than Indianapolis is. I do understand that these changes will bring a higher cost of living for the city that some people may not be able to afford. But this is what's needed for the city to thrive in the future we can't be stagnant.

For sure. I love Fishers

I appreciate your video, but Fishers disgust me, I grew up in Fishers, when you used to be able to ride your bike (moped)down Lantern and 37 with maybe a 2-3 cars driving by. I went to HSE, and graduated with less then 100 per class. I was just there this past weekend and it is so busy. If you like traffic, this is the place for you. The do's is you never have to leave everything is there, tons of entertainment, sports, shopping, concerts. It will always be my home since I grew up there..

lived here since 93, the biggest mistake was in 2004 voting to become a city from a town. I was in the 'no' camp, but a minority for sure

Just like Carmel - I used to live in Carmel some 20+ yrs ago, after that I lived in NJ, PA, CA and just about 6 yrs ago I came back to Indiana(polis) area - just for the heck of it, I drove to Carmel to see my old home - Carmel was unrecognizable, and so was Fishers and Zionsville - don't like any of these towns anymore ...
