Hi Cody, Great Video !!! Thanks for taking the time to help us. Can you tell me what soap you are using?
@FishFighterProducts7 жыл бұрын
Hi Richard! We use Lemon Joy (non-ultra) dish soap. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

I wish I could use that bait! The river I fish in southwest AK is artificial baits only and, crucially, no scents. Just takes a lot of hours running plain plugs.

Isaac Kelsey I run plain plugs and do better than those with baits and scents

What type of line is on your pole I need to cast from shore I need strong line but light enough to cast with split shot and able to wrestle king salmon
@FishFighterProducts7 жыл бұрын
Hello Adrian! We use 60 pounds braided line. You could probably get away with using 40 lb. but we prefer using 60 lb. Hope that helps, and thanks for watching!

So when I fish with my grandpa we don't use flashers we just use divers

Good as any vid i've seen rigging up correctly for those conditions. However, i would be skeptical not rinsing your rubber gloves off after using soap. Common sense would say natural river water would be best. Keeping alien sents off your offering would be the challenge. But how do you know those kings can't smell the left over soap deposits?

Hi Jack! Great question. Lemon Joy (Non-Ultra) Dish Soap is the #1 soap that's been tested and used in the Northwest Salmon Fisheries, so we're basing our recommendations on that historical data. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

This glove thing I can tell you is bs. I catch more fish than the guides do, on average and I don't wear them! I eat smoked salmon, put on cologne, have sunscreen on my hands and fill my boat with fuel with no gloves. Then fish. No jerking around. A fishermen needs to be able to FEEL.

lesson #1 dont wash your fish tackle tray in the dishwasher unless your single, happy wife = happy life lemon joy works just fine.fillet the sardine the night before cut them in pieces and put some rock salt on them. 2c
